Book Club Kits

Are you a member of a book club looking for an easier way to borrow copies of books you discuss?

Or, have you always wanted to try starting your own book club, but lacked the time to gather the necessary materials?

Look no further!

Reserve a Book Club Kit from your local library today.

What is a Book Club Kit?

Book Club Kits are for children, young adults, and adults. New ones arrive regularly.

A book club kit contains 15 paperback copies of one title, a discussion guide to assist book club leaders, and, when available, a large print copy of the same title, and a DVD or video relating to the book. These items are placed in a canvas tote for your convenience. Just grab it and go!

How do I reserve a Kit?

Kits can be reserved up to three years in advance so that your group can plan their upcoming year and schedule the appropriate book kit for each month. Although Kits cannot be requested through the iPac catalog, you can search the iPac catalog for "book club kit" as the general keyword. Or go to MVLC Book Club Kits to search for kits by Adult, Teen, and Children categories. Then request the kit by calling the Gleason Public Library reference desk at 978-369-4898
