On every page of this web site there is easy access to the library catalog and research databases; just use the links on the bar to the right.

The catalog can be searched by anyone, without a password, and provides access to the combined catalog holdings of all libraries of the Merrimack Valley Library Consortium (MVLC). The Gleason Public Library is a member of this Consortium along with 35 other libraries. Search results will indicate Carlisle holdings first, but holdings at other libraries can also be displayed. If an item is not in the MVLC catalog the Virtual Catalog can then be searched and requests made. The Virtual Catalog searches multiple libraries across Massachusetts. (More catalogs will be added soon.)

Reader's Reviews is an online discussion forum for members of the community to post suggestions and comments on books, films, and CDs. For more information on posting to Reader's Reviews, go to Reader's Reviews Help.

To access your account online, enter the 14-digit library card barcode and your 4-digit pin number (ask a librarian about your pin number if you do not know it).
