STORY TIMES

Story Times are ongoing for ages 0-6 years old. Story times consist of age-appropriate stories, rhymes, and fingerplays. Crafts are included in the programs for ages 3-6. Registration for fall, winter and spring sessions is required.

Participation in a library story time program is a great way to introduce new books to your child, help them foster a love of reading, and give them a chance to make new friends. They are also fun and sometimes crafty too.

Special Musical Story Time May 14

Do you like to listen to stories? Do you like to sing (and dance)? Come to the Children’s room and join the fun on Tuesday, May 14 at 4:00 p.m. You will hear stories and sing and move around. We will be making simple instruments for you to play. All ages; no registration is required. For more information, call the library and ask for Children’s.

 

SPRING STORY TIMES

Story hour sign-up for the Spring Story Time sessions at the Gleason Public Library is in progress. The spring session begins on March 25 and ends the week of May 13th. There will be no story time during the school April vacation week.

The library is offering registered story time sessions for two age groups, 3 to 4 1/2 year olds and 4 to 6 year olds. Due to many requests, the story time will take place at 1:15 on both days. Drop In story time for children ages three and under meets on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. starting March 28.

For ages 3 to 4 1/2 (registration required) (must be 3 by March 25, 2013)
Mondays, 1:15- 1:45 pm. March 25 through May 13

For ages 4 to 6 (registration required) (must be 4 by March 28, 2013)
Thursdays, 1:15-1:50pm. March 28 through May 16

Drop In Story Time for ages 0 to 3
Thursdays, 10:30-11:00 a.m., March 28 through May 16

PAJAMA STORY TIMES

Pajama Story Times for ages 3 and up are offered at 7 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month. Feel free to come dressed for the occasion and to bring along a favorite bedtime friend. Upcoming PJ story times:
